A Little History About Our Brand

Rocky Mountain Sunscreen—recently changed to Coral Isles—is headquartered in Lafayette, Colorado.

In 1992, our founder, David Erickson noticed that skiers and snowboarders—despite wearing sunscreen—were getting sunburned at Colorado's high-altitude mountain resorts. Following three years of research and product development, our superior bonding base formula was born.
